How it works

You click one link. We do the rest.

Start to finish it is about thirty seconds of your time, and the report is with you the same day.

  1. You connect your eBay account, read only

    We send you a link. It opens eBay's own sign-in page, you approve it there, and you are finished. Your password is typed on eBay and never reaches us. When it works you see a green tick and the words "You're all set". There is nothing to copy and nothing to send back.

  2. We pull thirty days of traffic for every active listing

    Not a sample. However many listings you have, all of them, with how many times eBay put each one in front of a buyer and how many times somebody clicked.

  3. We sort every listing into one of three states

    Never shown, shown and never clicked, or clicked without selling. This is the part that matters, because the fix is different in each one and most sellers are treating all three as a pricing problem.

  4. You get a PDF the same day

    Your headline numbers, the listings costing you the most named one by one, the ones nobody has seen at all, and what to change on each. Plain enough to act on yourself or hand to whoever does your listings.

  5. We delete our copy of the connection

    As soon as the report is with you. You can also revoke it yourself at any point without telling us first.

What the permission does and does not allow

  • Read only. We cannot list, revise, relist, end or ship anything.
  • We cannot see your payouts, your bank details, your tax details or your buyers.
  • We can see your active listings and how often eBay showed and clicked them.
  • This is enforced by eBay at the permission level, not by our promise.
  • Cancel any time: Account, Site Preferences, Third Party Authorisations.
  • We never ask for, see or store your eBay password.

The three permissions requested are eBay's basic application scope, its analytics read scope, and its inventory read scope. None of them can write. If you want the exact names, they are listed on our privacy page.

Questions people ask before connecting

I am not good with computers.
You click one link and press one button on eBay's own website. That is the whole thing. If you would rather, ring Scott and do it together on the phone in two minutes.
What if I change my mind afterwards?
Remove the access in your own eBay settings whenever you like. You do not need to ask us and it takes effect immediately.
How long does it take?
The connecting is seconds. The report is the same day. If we are going to be slower than that we will tell you before you pay.
My account is small. Is it worth it?
Maybe not yet. If your listings have been shown fewer than a couple of thousand times there is not enough there to read properly. We will tell you that and refund you rather than send you a thin report.
